Lance Reddick Agent Phillip Broyles

Lance Reddick is best known for his ability to play strong, multidimensional characters on television and in films. His memorable turn as "Lt. Cedric Daniels" on the critically acclaimed cable series "The Wire" brought him a global fan base. Reddick recently reprised his role as "Matthew Abbadon" on the hit series "Lost," and was also recently seen opposite Mariah Carey in Lee Daniels' independent feature "Tennessee."

Reddick is also known for his outstanding work on "The Corner," "Oz," "CSI: Miami," "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" and the cable film "Keep the Faith, Baby" with Harry Lennix. His feature film credits include work opposite Daniel Craig and Kim Basinger in "I Dreamed of Africa," Ed Zwick's "The Siege," Alfonso Cuar?n's "Great Expectations," the indie production "Bad City" and "The Way of War" with Academy Award winner Cuba Gooding Jr.

Born and raised in Baltimore by school teacher parents, Reddick attended the University of Rochester before transferring to the prestigious Eastman School of Music. In his twenties, he struggled to make it as a musician, and decided to try acting as a way to help jumpstart his music career. He was quickly cast in local stage productions, and a year later, he was accepted to the prestigious Yale School of Drama.

Two weeks after graduating from Yale, Reddick was cast as the understudy for Jeffrey Wright in "Angels in America." His other theater credits include "Henry V," "Julius Caesar," "Afterplay," "On House" and the critically acclaimed 2006 off-Broadway revival of August Wilson's "7 Guitars," in which Reddick played "Floyd."

Not limited to performing in front of the camera, Reddick launched YNC Films in 2006 with the vision of producing small, ethnically diverse, talent-driven, artistically sophisticated and socially complex films. He is currently in development on a project by Bruce Terrace, the director and co-writer of "Bad City."

Reddick is also an accomplished musician. He wrote and composed music for his debut album, "Contemplations & Remembrances," a collection of contemporary jazz songs that were released independently online last year.

Reddick divides his time between Los Angeles and Vancouver, Canada.

Phillip Broyles is a Homeland Security Special Agent and head of the Fringe division. Broyles is known for his tough, no-nonsense approach, but he's often revealed to have a chink in his armor, especially when he's dealing with FBI Special Agent Olivia Dunham. Long ago, Broyles became so obsessed with a case that it destroyed his marriage. He also appears to have once had a romantic relationship with Massive Dynamic COO Nina Sharp.
